Hari Kumar Shrestha
Founder
Hari Kumar Shrestha is the Founder and director of Accessible Adventure. Hari Kumar has been in the tourism industry since 1997 and has over 25 years of experience. He has worked in the Himalayan Mountains for over ten years, first as a porter and then as a guide licensed by the government. His early exposure to travel and trekking inspired him to found his own company that offers the finest tour experiences available in Nepal. He earned a bachelor's degree in Tourism Management and completed courses in foreign languages. By guiding tourists throughout the Himalayan Region, he has extensive knowledge of the culture and language of Nepal's indigenous people. He was elected from more than 1,500 NATTA members to serve as an executive member and coordinator for the Tourism Management Department. Additionally, he is involved in social work. He is the president of Junkiri Nepal; as the president of a recognized NGO, he was elected as Joint-Secretary in February 2016 in NFN (NGO Federation of Nepal, Kathmandu). He is passionate about nature, particularly mountaineering, and environmentally conscious in order to preserve rather than exploit the environment. He has experience climbing over 6,000 meters in height. His tourism exploits have taken him to numerous European and Asian nations. In dealing with numerous international tour operators, he has amassed a wealth of knowledge and experience regarding what constitutes an exceptional tourism experience.
